This is a five day ride covering the length of Wales, from Cardiff to Holyhead, 254 miles in total. As ever, Gordon is riding under the Ride For Freedom banner, raising awareness about modern slavery. But this outing offers a couple of fresh aspects.
“I’m very excited for this one,” Gordon told Velocity. “It’s the first time we’ve brought together the increasingly pressing issue of how climate change is creating conditions for modern slavery to be perpetrated. And it’s the first time we’ve partnered to put on a ride with another high profile cyclist: environmentalist Kate Strong, who holds a couple of cycling world records.”
