Both routes will take four days to cover the distance, one from Glasgow Velodrome to Leeds; the other from Stratford Velodrome to Leeds. “We have worked alongside UKREiiF to run this ride and offer discounted entry or, if participants so wish, a reduced ride price and no UKREiiF ticket,” said Iceni director of transport, Clive Burbridge.
“The intention is to raise money for charity and the ride is non-profit,” he told Velocity. “Assuming its success, this will be an annual event. It has the making of something big.”
